Annual Pea Point Clean-up - on the shore and underwater!

Join us on Saturday, May 28  for the annual Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point clean-up day. This year, thanks to a new relationship with COJO Diving, we will be hosting an underwater clean-up as well.  The on land shore clean-up will take place from 2 pm - 4 pm and the underwater clean up for LICENSED DIVERS will take place from 12 pm - 4 pm.

If you enjoy walking at Pea Point, come out and give us a hand.  For information on the shore clean-up, contact Richelle Martin at 453-4886, for information on the underwater clean-up for licensed divers, contact Connie Bishop at cojodiving@gmail.com or call the Village Office at 456-4870.

Thanks to all of the partners, including the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, Eastern Charlotte Waterways, COJO Diving and the Village of Blacks Harbour.

Residents are asked to drive carefully and obey traffic signals during this work period.  If residents have any questions, please contact the Village Office.

Register for the Blacks Harbour Public Alert System

Residents are advised that there is a new public alert system for Blacks Harbour called Sentinel.  This system will be used in the future to inform the public of major water system disruptions, such as a Boil Order, extended power outages or any other significant situation.  Door-to-door notices will not be used in the future.  Once registered for the system, residents will receive an automated phone message, text message or email with the necessary information.

If anyone requires assistance registering for the system, please call or visit us at the Municipal Office and we will be glad to help.  Please click here to register.
