What are bylaws?

Bylaws are public regulatory laws that apply to certain geographic areas.  Municipal Bylaws for the Village of Blacks Harbour are enacted by Mayor and Council and apply to all residents and land located within the municipal boundaries.

The municipality of Blacks Harbour is currently reviewing all bylaws and will be including all new bylaws in this section of our website.  In the meantime, all existing bylaws are still enforce and available for public viewing at the Municipal Office, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
